VINEYARD KIDS

We want to partner with families to lead the next generation into a growing relationship with Jesus and Vineyard Kids is a fun, loving and life-giving environment, where your child can make friends and explore their faith.

Every Sunday we start our time by worshiping together as a whole-church family. After worship our children go to their various groups until the end of the gathering. We believe that children are a vital part of our church and therefore we want them to be actively involved in worship, reading the Bible, prayer, ministry, serving, giving and sharing God’s heart for the poor and those that don’t yet know Jesus.

Vineyard Kids is a fun, safe, engaging space for children to hear about God and experience his love in an age-appropriate way. We have specially trained, DBS checked volunteer teams who have a real heart for children and families – look out for our Vineyard Kids team in blue t-shirts! We want your child to be comfortable in their group – if you are visiting or have come with friends or siblings, you can choose for them to be in the same group.

Children of all ages are welcome to be part of the main service at all our locations; all we ask is primary aged and younger children sit with their family and parents during this time.

Northampton 9.30am & 11.15am
Raunds 10.30am
Wellingborough 10.30am

We want CLUB V to be somewhere that all our children can belong, so we do our best to find ways for all our children to engage in God’s Big Story, in different creative ways. Each week they can choose to engage with a number of different zones based around prayer, personal identity, the world around them and questions they may have.

God’s Big Story is the framework we use to teach the Bible in a relevant way for all our children as we seek to equip them in their everyday lives. It’s a simple way of breaking the big story of the Bible into six sections.

CHECK IN

Each week you can check your child in using the automated check-in system. This will print a sticker to go on his or her back, which includes emergency details. We will also give you a sticker to be kept as a receipt to present upon collection of your child.

Check-in opens thirty minutes before the start of each gathering and we ask all parents to pick their children up at the end of each session.

ADDITIONAL NEEDS

Whether you are part of our church or just visiting and have a child with special needs, please do get in touch with our pastors responsible for Vineyard Kids to discuss how we can help them to feel at home and the best ways that we can include them in our activities.

CHILD SAFETY

We want Vineyard Kids to be the safest place possible for your child. All of our team members undergo a DBS check when they volunteer and we have robust plans in place in the unlikely event of a fire or other threat to the safety of anyone in the building.

Our venue managers are responsible for all emergency evacuations on site and will lead our team of volunteers in escorting your child to the designated meeting point.

Simultaneously, you will be guided through a safe route to the meeting point where you will collect your child. In the event of an emergency, we ask you not to go to the children’s area on your own, as you may risk harm to yourself and others in the process.

GETTING INVOLVED

We are always looking for new members to join our team. All team members seeking to be involved in Vineyard Kids will be required to carry out a full DBS check and supply references. To start this process please download our Safeguarding Pack.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

In addition to Vineyard Kids on a Sunday morning, we also run other groups and events throughout the year, as well as Child Dedications at least once a term.
