God loves us and has shown his love for us in Jesus. When we want to understand God's love and compassion, this should always be our starting point. As we get to know God’s love more through the Holy Spirit, our hearts and minds are transformed bit by bit. During Lent, we want to focus on God’s Love and Compassion and seek for Him to lead us to love and show compassion to others.

As John Wimber put it, “Worship leads us to compassion”. Our heart is not to run a programme of compassion projects but rather build a culture of compassion by focusing on God, his love and compassion and seeking His guidance and prompting of how we can love those around us. During this time, we are praying for God to prompt and guide us to show love and compassion as we seek His purpose for our town, county and neighbourhoods.
